Juices and gazpachos fulfil an important function: they are convenient and easy to incorporate into your regular diet. In short, they are ready to consume.
They are also tasty, fun, and offer a wide variety to choose from. They are ready to enjoy.

Therefore, the main objectives of the campaign are:

To position European juices and gazpachos as a food that complements a balanced day-to-day life (within the EU Plan), and that easily adapts to our lifestyle.

Helping the population increase their daily consumption of fruits and vegetables, which are essential for a healthy diet.

Promote the competitiveness and consumption of European Union agricultural products and certain food products, improving their visibility.

Improve knowledge about the benefits of European Union agricultural products, as well as the specificities of their production methods.

Sustainability

The European fruit juice and gazpacho sector combines tradition and innovation to offer high-quality products with a firm commitment to sustainability in all its aspects: environmental, economic and social.
From cultivation to marketing, every step of production is optimised to minimise environmental impact and contribute to a more sustainable future.

Therefore, the sector works in several key areas:

Resource utilisation and waste reduction:

Zero waste is promoted by revaluing the byproducts generated during production. Shells, pulp, and seeds are transformed into natural ingredients, essential oils, or animal feed, maximising the use of each raw material.

Energy and water efficiency:

Investments are made in technology to reduce water and energy consumption, improving process efficiency and reducing the environmental footprint.

Innovation in sustainable packaging:

The sector is committed to eco-design, with 100% recyclable packaging that reduces environmental impact. The bricks, which are used in more than 70% of our products, are made from renewable, plant-based raw materials certified for sustainable management.

Commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs):

The sector’s activities are aligned with several SDGs, promoting well-being, health, innovation, and climate action.
